How Preorders Work

A lot of our team gear runs on preorders — here's exactly what that means and why we do it.

The Short Version

The drop opens. A preorder window opens for a team's gear — you'll see "Preorder" right in the product name.
You order your sizes. Pay at checkout like any other order. Your size is locked in — no racing to buy before stock runs out.
The window closes, we produce the batch. Everything is made in one production run — that's how we keep prices low and quality consistent.
Gear arrives. Typically 2-3 weeks after the window closes. Local orders may be available for pickup or delivery even sooner.

Why Preorders?

Guaranteed sizes — every order is produced to order, so your Youth M is never "sold out."
Better prices — one batch means less waste, and we pass that on.
Nothing sits in a warehouse — which matters for team fundraisers, where every dollar should go to the program, not leftover stock.

Can I Cancel?

Yes — you can cancel a preorder any time before it ships. Email info@towngearessentials.com with your order number. Once it ships, our standard return policy applies. Personalized items (name/number) are final sale — double-check spelling and sizes before you order.

Because preorder items are made to order, getting the size right matters more than usual. Check our Size Guide, and when in doubt — especially for growing kids — size up or email us for a recommendation.
